Kronow is a melodic heavy metal band out of Denver, Colorado. Their music stands out by complementing aggressive instrumentation with thougthful melodies and dynamic musical progressions. It incorporates elements from all genres of metal (old, nu, thrash, death), rock, and even funk & jazz without ever falling into the stereotype of any one style. While their songs move between and through these styles, there is always that basic element that is uniquely Kronow. Heavy, riff-laden guitars dominate, supported by intricate percussion movements and techniques more typical of jazz than metal. All of this is fronted by vocals ranging from the most brutal metal growls and screams to haunting melodic/harmonized singing. The key to the Kronow sound is hooks that invade your head immediately and refuse to leave. If you like metal of any kind, you will love Kronow.
With two studio CD's and tons of live performances under their belt, Kronow has reached a level of individuality and professionalism rarely seen so early in a band's career. Their extensive catalogue of music reaches out to fans of all types of music. From the brutality of songs like "Justify" to the emotional power of "All I See", there is something for everyone. Kronow's live show draws the crowd in through the precision of the music, the high energy of the group, and their sincere ability to connect personally with the fans.
Kronow has come a long way in their short time together. Their success comes from a strong work ethic and the huge level of experience and professionalism the members have gained over years of playing in bands in and out of the Denver scene. The band consists of James Brennan on vocals, Randy Brodzik and Nathan Salas on guitar, Phil Martinez on bass, and Kenny Garza on drums. With incredible commitment to the music and to each other, Kronow has solidified its sound and attitude in a very short timeframe.
Having secured a strong following in Denver and surrounding areas, the band is now moving on to conquer other cities throughout the country.
